Milan, Italy

I'm blogging from a hotel room of the Executive hotel in Milan, Italy. My last stop in Italy before I head off to Switzerland tomorrow. It's been hard to get an internet connection while here.

I'm not exactly in the mood to tell of what has happened the past few days while in Italy. I'll blog more once I can secure an internet connection for my laptop...

In the meantime, my best wishes to everyone all over the world.
May peace come to all in our individual lives and to the global community as well.

TH Gathering

I just got back from the American Club, where I was meeting Morgan and Eleni.
It's really great to hang out with them! They're fun people, and we're talking about Tokio Hotel all most of the time. I hope to hang out with them more often!

Now that I'm back I'm kinda tired. But still gonna go to the gym later. Gotta burn off the 2 fish tacos, plaintain chips, salsa and rice... I think I gotta stay in the gym for about 2 hours to burn it all off!

All in all it's been a great day! Great time spent with Morgan and Eleni!

17th December 2009

Once again my sexuality has been brought into question. My parents have questioned me about it, my friends have questioned me about it, and today even my online TH friends have asked me about it.

Frankly speaking, I'm not sure. Some think I'm gay, some think I'm bi, but mostly gay. Oh well...
I'm rather excited as I may be meeting my TH friends tomorrow at the American club. I hope we'll get to meet each other before I leave for Europe in 5 days time.
I'll definitely buy my Radii shoes in Milan. Come home and wear'em all the time.

I've been thinking about my old friends whom I've known in church for the past few days...
Geez... And I thought I forgot about them already...
I gotta reset my eyes, and erase my mind.
I'm not particularly pleased that I'm still thinking about them. I mean why should I?
I've got no reason to, just as they don't think about me.

It's all a fantasy.
All a lie.
I don't know why I lasted so long with them.
I don't know why I shared much with them.

Seeing through covered eyes, I thought I gained my sight.
Only when I tore the veil, did I see the light.
All of them friends, I thought they were,
But now I'm in the rear.
The life I lived was but a lie.
I could only give a sigh.
But now that the chains are gone
I burst into joyful song
Free once more to take flight
Towards the shining light.

World behind my Wall - World Video Premiere

Wow... That pretty much sums up the World Video Premiere of "World behind my Wall".
One more video for my Favourites list.

You've gotta watch it on the Tokio Hotel website.

In other news, my googles which I purchased from eBay has yet to arrive...
I hope it arrives before I go off to Western Europe in about a week.

I dyed my hair, and I'm loving every strand of it!
It's a red base with blond highlights, so I'm kinda like a man walking with my head on fire!
But it's cool, I like this new style, and would probably keep it!

Tokio Hotel keeps me sane from my mum's constant rant about how great Gackt (Her idol) is...
Thank the stars!

Woah...
They're telling me it's beautiful
I believe them but will I ever know

10 days to Europe

10 more days to Europe!

Excited and rarrin' to go! But I've yet to pack my luggage, so I'm gonna do that soon...
I got a handy video cam with which to take videos with, so I can post up everyday of my travels in it.
I also bought myself a pair of rather cool looking cyber/steam punk goggles, which I really like.

Gotta submit a report tonight...
Holidays have started, but I guess late schoolwork always catchees up to you in the end.
Hehe.

Exams are over!

Yeah! Exams are over!
Now only 11 weeks more till the final one...

Maths was rather okay... Except that out of 100 marks, the maximum I can score is 70 marks... *Sigh*
Oh well, I've done my best, I'm sure that there'll be improvement from the previous exam.

Holidays are here!

Last paper

At last! The last paper!

Maths...

Dreading it, and yet looking frward to it. Can't wait for it to start.
I think I"m prepared. So I should be able to do better than the previous MST.
I hope it is so.

Think I'll wear my new jacket today... Or maybe not. I'll decide later.

*Sigh* Tokio Hotel, you drive me crazy!!! In a good way.

Wednesday, December 9, 2009

I'm so friggin depressed now...

PEEE is a definite fail...

Tuesday, December 8, 2009

*Sigh of relief*

Okay, 2 papers down, 2 to go.
A little excited and yet apprehensive.
I hope all goes well for me...

Exams... *Groan*

Oh man... Exam week...

*sigh* Structured programming... I don't think I'd do very well, but neither would I do very badly...
Perhaps, just average.

Thoughts of the day

Hmph... Well, well, well...

Exams are next Montag... Warum zeit fliegt so schnell?!
Oh well... Can't be helped.
So now I'm down with a sore throat and a mild cold. Nothing I can't handle.
This affirms my belief that humans are frail beings with much potential.
We've not reached the end of our evolutionary ladder. We're not even halfway there. But we'll get there.

Wir sind Hunde Los!
We won't be constrained!
We won't be held back!
We are dogs unleashed!

Loving Tokio Hotel more and more each day...
Replace "Tokio Hotel" with "God" and that'll be what I used to say to a figment of my imagination, and indeed, the imagination of the other 1 billion Christians and Roman Catholics, everyday.
But not anymore. I feel so free.

But yeah, seriously loving Tokio Hotel more and more each and every passing day!
Thanks for the great songs and encouragement!
Come to Singapore!

Ooh! Strong and confident!

Ramblings

I'm so glad that my view on all things in this world are not closed by the walls of religion.
A good example of such a thing is the begining of man. Were we created? Or did we evolve?

If I were constricted by the walls of religion I would say we were created.
But thankfully, I'm not. My answer would be evolution.

The world will not be inherited by the meek. But by the smart, the strong and the open minded.
In or future, there can be no place for religion, though it will still be around, the number of theists will be much lower than todays number.

I'm so glad that Tokio Hotel is vegetarian. Well at least Tom and Bill are. But they do ocassionaly eat fish, just like me.
I'm also on a vegetarian diet now as I can't bear the guilt of knowing an animal died so that I could eat it. But I'll still ocassionaly consume seafood. So you could say I'm an extremely moderate vegetarian.
We were meant to have dominion over animls? Please... No wonder the Dodo went extinct...

MLIA

Haha!

Much thanks to my friend Tiki!
You made my day with the link.
Maybe sometimes we just got to takes things slow and see the really simple things in life.
My Life Is Average.
MLIA Rocks!

But not as much as Tokio Hotel! ( I just had to assure myself...)

Phantastischer!

Just finished watching another episode of TH TV.
Today's episode. MTV EMAs!
Man, my heart always flutters whenever I see Tokio Hotel...
I would gladly pay 1 million dollars per band member, just to meet with them, for one day!
*sigh*
My desire of seeing Tokio Hotel once in the flesh seems so far away.
I've gotta somehow get them to Singapore...

In your shadow I can shine

Here's a bonus track by Tokio Hotel, from their new album "Humanoid"
I really like this song. It seems so sad, and yet so full of hope!
I always feel like crying when I hear this song.

In your shadow I can shine - Tokio Hotel

And here's some pictures of Bill!

Bill during the filming of "Rette Mich"

Ooh! Black and White! I like this one alot!

Simple...

Tuesday, November 17, 2009

We are soon coming to a new evolutionary stage. An age of machines and humans living together.

A new prosthetic hand has just been created. This prosthetic hand is revolutionary, as it can allow the user to feel. This is something that all previous prosthetics have not been able to accomplish. The scientists, who mostly come from the EU, are also planning on creating prosthetic legs with the same ability.

Soon I can become a cyborg... Or at least have the hope/chance of becoming one.

Thoughts.

Exams are just around the corner, and I've been rather busy lately...
Truth is, things aren't exactly happening for me now.
I'm always worrying about things that seem illogical.
Haha!
Things such as my future carrer, my future family, finances, etc...
Ah well, it's my nature to always think about things from every possible angle, that way I am never caught unawares.

Things have been rather slow, and boring as of late.
But I'm sure things will pick up.

It's confirmed that I will be going to Western Europe on the 16th of Dec 2009.
I'll be there for 13 days and I'll be enjoying it as much as I can.
I don't really see the French as I thought they were. Or at least I'm telling myself to give them a chance.
I'll be buying some shoes from over there, since they don't sell them in Singapore.

Places I'll be visiting in Western Europe seems quite interesting.
The first few days will be in Italy, I'll be in Rome, Pisa, Venice and of course the Vatican City.
I'm not a Christian anymore, but the thought of me standing in St. Peter's Square is mind blowing. Being able to travel to the seat of the Holy See is quite amazing!

Then after Italy we'll head up north to Switzerland, the homeland of Ovaltine! I have no idea why I said it, but it was the only thing that came to mind. In anycase I'd like to try skiing while there and also to look at all the Swiss knives and Rolexes. My only complain about them is about them not using the Euro. Which means, we'll have to change our currency to the Swiss Franc...

Then after a few days in Switzerland, we'll go up north again to Paris, France. We'll be spending the remaining few days in Paris. In fact the only stop in France is Paris. But no matter, I'll enjoy myself lots!

Looking forward to going to Western Europe!
But before that comes the exams. Something I'm looking forward to finishing and forgeting about. But I do hope that I'll fare better this time round.

"Humanoid" ist hier!

Haha! I'm absolutely filled with joy right now!
Mein "Humanoid" CD ist hier! Danke Schoene eBay!!!

I'm so totally in love with all those songs!
Will try to get pictures up soon.

Now I'm just waitig for the english album to arrive and the bag as well.

Sorry for the delay.

I know I did say that I'd do a 3 part series on the Berlin Wall. So I just wanna apologize for me not being able to do it yet... I've been busy with school work this past week, and haven't really had the chance to start on this 3 part series yet... So once again I apologize and I'll try to get the posts up ASAP.

20 Jahre Mauer Fall.

Today marks a remarkable day for many Germans. Berliners to be more precise. For it is on this day that we see the fall of the infamous Berlin Wall. It's been 20 years since the fall of the Wall, let us continue to hope that freedom will also come to countries which are divided by physical and/or ideological barriers.

I will do a 3 part series on this blog, tracing the history of the Berlin Wall.
Begining with...
The rise of the Wall.
The fall of the Wall.
and...
The post Wall years.

So stay tuned to find out more about the Berlin Wall.
And may such a thing never happen again to Germany and the world.
Remember all those who died while crossing the Wall, and those who stood bravely against it.

20th year of the fall of the Wall.
20 Jahre Mauer Fall.

Arthur und die Minimoys 2

Here's a clip, courtesy of Tokio Hotel TV, of Bill talking about his role in "Arthur une die Minimoys 2".
After watching you really get an idea of how hard it actually is to make a movie, animated or not.
It helped me gain a deeper appreciation for the time and effort put into it.

Western Europe it seems...

Ok, so it seems that I'll probably be going to Western Europe instead. But I won't be able to go to Germany like I wanted. Instead we'll be going to Italy, Switzerland and France instead. I'm not exactly looking forward to France though. I hope that my thoughts about them being snobbish, rude and arrogant will turn out ti be misplaced.

I really feel great about Tokio Hotel winning the "Best Group" award at the MTV EMA Awards 2009.

Tokio Hotel Won!!!

Yeah!!!

Congrats to Tokio Hotel for winning the "Best Group" Award!
They preformed "World behind my Wall", one of my favourite songs from their new album "Humanoid"
I knew that they would make it!
So proud of them and I look forward to hearing more news of their success!

Congratulations guys!
All the best!

Africa or Europe? That is the question.

Okay, so this year's holiday would be either be 10 days in South Africa or 13 days in Eastern Europe. My mum would much rather go to Eastern Europe as it would be early winter there. I wouldn't mind either of those places.

Here's some more picturesof Bill.

All I want for Christmas is Tokio Hotel in a box...

Tom: Why? Why'd you hae to get dreadlocks too? Everyone knows I'm the only one with em!
Bill: Well I wanted to try something new!

And for those who don't know, Bill is reprising his voice role as Arthur in Arthur und die Minimoys 2!
Makes me wanna watch the show in Deutsch, just to hear his voice!

Thoughts.

My dad could be the one thing that is peventing me from attending Tokio Hotel's concert in Spain or Austria, or anywhere in the world. Hopefully I can persuade him to let me go with my mum for the concert. I'm so looking forward to it. And yet it's so near yet so far.

And I hope that I can get the tickets at all. If I do then my dad will have no choice but to let me go for it. Haha! Otherwise it's be a waste of money.

Now I'm just waiting for Tokio Hotel's new album which I purchased from eBay at the cost of US$159.98.
So in S$ that would be about S$250... It's quite alot, but I'm glad that I managed to buy it.

So now I'm gonna be going for lessons with a real boring teacher. This teacher makes learning a chore...

Cheers Dr. Merkel!

Cheers to Angela Merkel!

She's the second chancellor to address the US Congress, an honor given to the US' closest allies, and something that hasn't been given to Germany since Konrad Adenauer 52 years ago.
In her speech she started by speaking about her past in the communist East Germany, the history of her nation. The Nazi war crimes. Thanked Presidents Clinton and George W. Bush Senior for their role in bringing an end to the Cold War.
She also talked about the global financial sector, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the military operations in Iran and Afghanistan. Dr. Merkel also spoke about the security of Israel being paramount.

I especially like her point about climate. As we all know the US produces the most greenhouse gases in the world. In her speech she asked for the US to reduce emissions, stating that by doing so China and India would be encouraged to follow suit.

More info to come as it is released.

"Wilkommen zu Humanoid stadt"

I am now hoping...
...hoping...
... ...hoping... ...
... ... ...hoping... ... ...

For what? Here's a clue...

"Wilkmmen zu Humanoid stadt"

The chance to attend myfirst ever Tokio Hotel concert in a foreign country!
The chances of me going are about 50/50... Which if I'm were an optimist I would say is good.
If I were a pessimist however I would say it's no good...

In any case if I'm going, I'd probably be going to the concert in Barcelona, Madrid or Vienna.
Personally I'd prefer to go to the one in Vienna. I'd get to tour Austria before and after the concert before coming home to Singapore! I mean how cool is that? I'd get to attend a Tokio Hotel conzert and still get to tour Wien!

I'm now just hoping...
...hoping...
... ...hoping... ...
... ... ...hoping... ... ...

Ich Hasse Amazon!!!

Noooooooooooo!!!!!!

I'm never ever using Amazon ever again!

Due to some gross error... My order was NOT processed. Which means I've been waiting so long for my "Humanoid" CDs for nothing!!!
The good thing is, I've just made my purchase order from eBay, and I've decided to get the deluxe edition for both English and German versions of the album.Included is the music CD, DVD and a flag. Plus bonus tracks and special V.I.P items that I can redeem from Tokio Hotel's website.

Bill, Bill, Bill, more Bill

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! MTV EMA Awards!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing all those who have been nominated for the various awards. But I'm most especially looking forward to Tokio Hotel!

Here's some pics of Bill to brighten your day!

Little Bill and Little Tom!

I've never seen Bill dressed like this!
It looks real good!

Oh gosh... Bill... Tank top...

MTV EMA Awards 2009

Only a few days left to the 2009 MTV EMA Awards in Berlin!
I'm looking forward to it, and I'll probably skip school this friday to watch it.
Maybe, maybe not... We'll see how it goes.

For all the Tokio Hotel fans out there, if you've yet to vote for them under "Best Group" category, please do so now, every vote counts! They deserve those votes!

Hmm... Just got back from the Halloween party at church...
I would have to say that it was boring... Not fun at all...

Kudos to Bill for the wonderful dream I had...
I hope to continue it tonight.
Or to have a new one starring Bill or all of Tokio Hotel.

Bill Kaulitz is my friend!

Gonna tell y'all something before I head off to church...

Bill Kaulitz is my friend!
...
...
In my dreams.

I dreamt that Bill was my bestest friend in the whole world! And he came to Singapore, alone, justto see me!
Imagine that, Bill coming just to visit me! Anyway, we met up together and we went to have lunch and we were just having fun talking to one another, drinking booze. Basically, just enjoying each other's company.
Then we went to my car (Yes, in my dream, I own a car and I drive.) and Bill immediately went to the driver's seat. I said to him, "I'm driving!"
To which he replied, "I'm driving!" And so we bickered over who was gonna drive my car, but it was eventually decided, that we would both sit in the driver's seat. How we both managed that is a mystery to me.
So we were driving along until it got dark, and it was so dark you couldn't see your fingers, even if they were right in front of you. Then Bill said something that upset me quite abit, so I walked out of the car (which had stopped already). He immediately regretted it and started coming after me, but because it was so dark he couldn't see me. Then out of the blue I could see in the dark, just like Riddick! And I saw that Bill was being attacked by creatures, so I ran towards him and killed all the creatures with my superhero powers. (don't ask me what it was, I don't even know...)
And so the dream came to an end. But it was so real that when I woke up I checked my handphone to see if I got Bill's number...
...
...
...
...
...
Sadly I don't...

Way to go! Gold in 7 countries!

Tokio Hotel's new album "Humanoid" has gone gold in 7 countries after hitting the top 3. France, Portugal, Spain are just some of the countries, but the real suprise is from Mexico, where it ht number 1 on the song charts.

Their new European tour, "Welcome to HUMANOID city!" will start on the 22nd of Feb 2010. I'm looking forward to the release of that new DVD, seeing as I won't be able to attend the concert in person. Of course I would love to.

And here's another song from their new album which I simply adore, and another one from their older album, which I seem to have fallen in love with.

The lyrics are so meaningful and I really love it.

Aww... Sweet Gustav

Aww... Gustav is so sweet!
Watch to find out why

Gustav: I would choose Bill.
Bill: You would choose me?
Georg: Why that?
Gustav: Cause he's everything to me.

How much sweeter can you get than that?
Cheers to Tokio Hotel!

Transhumanism

This is one post concerning my beliefs that I'll post both here and on my new blog http://www.transhumanistayron.blogspot.com/

TABLE OF TRANSHMANIST VALUES

Core Value
* Having the opportunity to explore the transhuman and posthuman realms

Basic Conditions
* Global security
* Technological progress
* Wide access

Derivative Values
* Nothing wrong about “tampering with nature”; the idea of hubris rejected
* Individual choice in use of enhancement technologies; morphological freedom
* Peace, international cooperation, anti-proliferation of WMDs
* Improving understanding (encouraging research and public debate; critical thinking; open-mindedness, scientific inquiry; open discussion of the future)
* Getting smarter (individually; collectively; and develop machine intelligence)
* Philosophical fallibilism; willingness to reexamine assumptions as we go along
* Pragmatism; engineering- and entrepreneur-spirit; science
* Diversity (species, races, religious creeds, sexual orientations, life styles, etc.)
* Caring about the well-being of all sentience
* Saving lives (life-extension, anti-aging research, and cryonic

This is what draws me to want to be a transhumanist. They are not afraid of science and truly want to benefit all of mankind. They're also very liberal and open to new ideas. These ideals appeal to me, and I'm sure to the majority of people as well...

For a full read about tranhumanist philosphy go to

One year short...

I was one year short of being able to have the chance to win a pair of tickets to the MTV EMA Awards in Berlin this year... One year... *sigh*

There goes my chances of seeing Tokio Hotel live this year... Oh well... At least I'll see them on the telly...
Here's one of my favourite songs from TH's new album, "Humanoid". Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

Hooray for a nuclear free world!

New German Government to seek removal of US nuclear weapons
http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,,4824174,00.html?maca=en-newsletter_en_bulletin-2097-txt-nl

I applaud the new German government's decision to seek the removal of US nuclear weapons from their homeland. This is what all countries who are host to US or Russian nuclear missiles should do. They should not allow the world superpowers to store their nuclear weapons in their country.

The removal of US nukes from Germany, I hope, will set an example to the other countries who are hosting US/Russian nukes. I am really glad that Germany is doing something to help make our planet a nuclear weapons free world.

Tokio Hotel fuer immer!

Tokio Hotel's "Ready, Set, Go!" was featured on MTV's Non-stop chart toppers!
So happy for them!

Can't wait for the 5/6th of November!
Tokio Hotel will be performing at the 2009 MTV EMA Awards!
They've been nominated 3 times in a row for the "Best Group" Award!

I really hope that they'll win! They really deserve it!

Also, news has been released that Tokio Hotel will be going on tour again begining on the 22nd of Feb 2010! The new tour has been called "Welcome to HUMANOID city!" The tour will go through 32 countries, Singapore, unfortunately, not being one of them. But still, it mean I can look forward to a new concert DVD of their new tour.

Just got a call from Liming... We talked about certain things.
When he asked me if I'm angry, I naturally replied truthfully. Yes, naturally I'm angry. But I've no idea at who or what. So when he heard that, he asked me to be pissed off at him... I take it as an insult on my character...
Let's make things clear, I'm not someone who get angry at others for no cause. So don't ask me to get pissed off at anyone just to calm me down, because it won't.
It seems to me as if I'm being blamed for things that has happend. Perhaps it isn't what it is, but still I can't help but get the feeling of being victimized here.

Truly, I've made a mistake and won't ever repeat it again.
I'll be more cautious when choosing friends now.
I'll be so much more tight lipped.

Bill brightens my day!

*Sigh...*
It's Friday! In German Friday is Freitag, literally meaning Free Day...
Yet I'm down in the slumps, cause I still gotta go to school, and I'll be there for only 2 and a half hours, which doesn't mae it worth my time to commute to school.

But whenever I see Bill's picture, it will brighten up my day for sure.
So here are some photos of him, and I hope that he will brighten up your day too!

And my Favouritest Picture of him so far...

Mistakes. And I'm too trusting...

This was my draft... Something I wrote before I could confirm anything.

Hmm... I knew it was a mistake to tell anyone about anything.
The only reason I spoke was because I thought that they would keep quiet about it.
It seems that I was wrong.
I can't really trust anyone now.
I will have to suppose that they told everything that I told them.
Why else would they not call me when they said they would?
And somehow...

Somehow...

It seems that others know as well...
Why else would people who don't call, call all of a sudden.
I knew it was a mistake to say anything...
I'll have to be more cautious about what I say from now on...

__________________________________________________________________________________

This is what has happened, as far as I know.

Miscommunication. It was either intended or it wasn't.
What do I think? I think it was intended...
Otherwise they wouldn't know anything.
The difference between, "Can I talk to them" and, "Can I know from them?" is 2 completely different requests.

The first statement makes it seem as if the one asking, merely wants to talk to them, with no intention of learning anything that's secret.
The second statement makes it seem as if the one asking has the intention of learning little secrets.
There's the difference.
They've been sent to checkup on me... I can't allow anything like this to happen again.

I ask for a little privacy... A little faith in friends...
Do I get any? No...
Not even the slightest little bit of privacy. Not even the tiniest speck of trust can I expect from my so-called "friends".

Anger...

I really despise people with anger problems. That includes family members...

Anger destroys relationships and, to a further extent, lives.
It comes differently for everyone.
For some it comes in the form of self hurt.
For others it manifests in the form of hurting others.

I despise people with anger problems.

Enriching

Okay... So first day of school... in a word: Enriching.

Tiring but enriching. I may have failed all 3 of my modules, but there's a silver lining to this dark cloud.
I feel more motivated to do better for my 3rd and final year exams. I have exactly 7 weeks to brush up on my maths, PEEE and DE. It's a whole lot to swallow in just 7 weeks. But I have to do it. I have to go on to Year 2!

Hmm... It'll be hard to adapt to study mode, something which I've never done before. But it's better late than never. So I have vowed to myself to do really well for all upcoming quizzes, tests and exams. I guess it helps that I'm bored with most of my computer games and even my Xbox.

Surrogates. Live life... only better.

I would give "Surrogates" a 5/5 rating, for being an action packed sci-fi movie with interesting plot line, with a few wonderful twists.

"Surrogates" is a show set 6 years in the future, from now. In the year 2017, humans hardly interact with one another face to face, instead relying on robots called Surrogates, to do that. The benefits of a surrogate are numerous, one being, any one you want to be, and another is to be immune to any form of damage. However in the show surrogates are being killed one by one, and it turns out, that as the surrogate dies, so too does the owner. This defeats the purpose of a surrogate and that's the interesting part of the show. I do recommend this show to anyone who is thinking of watching a movie.

Reunion!

Current Mood: Bored out of my gourd. Sad.

Reason for being bored out of my gourd: No more friends at my place.
Reason for being sad: All good things have to come to a temporary end.

So I've just ended a 24++ hour reunion with 2 of my primary school friends. It was a real treat to finally meet them again after 4 long years. In between we lost contact with one another, since I didn't have a handphone then, and we all didn't have one another's email, we lost contact with one another.

But by some astronomical coincedence, Samir knows one of them, Favian. They're both studying in the same school, and so Samir was kind enough to arrange a meeting for the him and me. I was really really ecstatic when Samir told me that Favian wanted to meet up with me. I was like, "Oh my gosh! It's Favian! It's been too long!" And so we ended up catching up on msn, and arranging a meeting time. Which was also when I found out that his twin brother, Andre, was studying in the same school as me. The funny thing is, we never saw one another...

In anycase we had a heap load of fun, more fun than I've had in quite a long time. We just chatted and caught up with one another, played the Wii, watched some movies and did some really weird stuff... Unfortunately all good things must come to a temporary end...

So now here I am feeling kinda bored and sad... We gotta meet up again and have some fun!

Friday, October 9, 2009

I am watching Borat now. Again. But today I'm not alone, today I have with me 2 good friends from my Primary 6 school days. I managed to get in touch with them again through Samir. And we're having a great time. Probably gonna sleep over and watch movies all the way till the sun rises. It's gonna be fun. We all have 4 years worth of things to share. I'm so happy today.

Cheers to DW TV

I would like to congratulate Deutsche Welle TV for their wonderful programme "Learning by ear: Radio for Africa". Their goal is to provide education for Africans who do not have the priviledge to study.

"Education is the key to Africa's development. But schools and universities are still rare. "Learning by ear", DW's new multimedia distance-learning programme, brings knowledge to every corner of the continent." So Says DW TV.

It is a really wonderful thing to see a corporation take such an interest in the education of the youths of today's world. I give this project my full support and would one day want to contribute to making this world a better place for not only youths, but the entire world as well.

I simply cannot believe the lengths that these Christians will go to to prove their point. They lie about these stories, and not only that, they also make it seem as if they are the good guys.
I stumbled across this article in relation to one of their lies. According to them dinosaus are well and alive. Walking among us in the forests...
And so, please, I ask each and everyone who reads this post to read the article. And let me know what you think in the comments.

Here's the article.

Lying Christianity

I'm quite shocked to see this website put up lies on the theory of evolution, just to get young kids to believe in creationism. Isn't it against Christian values to lie? So why is the creator of this website lying?

"Humanoid" jetzt!

Yeah! "Humanoid is officialy released! Well at least in Singapore. In Germany there will be another 6 hours before the release. So far, I'm still listening to all the songs from "Humanoid" on Tokio Hotel's MySpace page. And loving all the songs.

I also realized that some of the tracks are done a little differently from the preview. And they sound so much better! Can't wait till I receive my copy from Amazon...

Death in the flesh?

Here's 2 really good ones. Watch and enjoy!

My number one fear, besides uncertainty, is death. Yes, I'm not afraid to say it, I'm afraid of death. Death is a sin and a curse. A flaw of nature. I wasn't born into this world just so I can live for 80 years and then die. No, I refuse to accept or believe that. And yet this is how it is.

My fear of death is based on the uncertainty of what comes after. I wouldn't want to die and for conciousness to come to an end there. At the same time I don't want to believe in the concept of heaven and hell. Both are equally repungant to me.

On a happier note, just 1 more day before "Humanoid" is released.
And on a sadder note, school's gonna start in just 2 weeks. To be precise, 13 days.

I hope in the 2nd semester I will do better. Now that I've got something to work towards it should be easier.
Things don't always go to plan and can be against my will. But I hope that won't be the case.
I miss the friends that I made in church, but I don't think I can be among them anymore. Our ideas conflict and I need to be among people with the same way of thinking... We'll see how it goes.

"Humanoid" Schnell Komm!

Yaaahhhh!!! Tokio Hotel!!!

They were just featured on PopXport, and I got to listen to an exclusive interview with them!
Can't wait for "Humanoid" to be released in just 2 days!
Unfortunately, I think I'd have to wait for at least 1 to 4 weeks after it's release before I receive my copy in Singapore.
I intend to expand my music tastes to more than just Tokio Hotel.
I love them as a band, and their music, but I wouldn't want to be confined to just listening to Tokio Hotel all the time.
I'd probably start looking into electronica.

Groovy...

Here's another video by Neurosonic Audiomedical Labs Inc.
It's kinda interesting and quite creative.
Watch and enjoy it.

And there is a new post on my new blog, Transhuman Ayron, concerning a utopia on earth. Do read it and leave your comments.

Personal opinions

"It's the soul afraid of dying, that never learns to live"

Well, here's my view on things. The soul is a word given to what we call conciousness. It is the part of us that allows us to be aware of what's going on around us. If you are unconcious, then you wouldn't really know what going on around you.

My 'soul' is afraid of dying. For with death there can be only 2 possible outcomes.

1) There really exists another realm, called heaven and hell. Of which, according to my previous beliefs, will send me automatically, to hell. Not a really pleasant thought, nor one that I look forward to.

Or...

2) There is no other realm called heaven and hell. I'll die and be buried, or cremated and the slow process of decay would begin. Which would lead me to not knowing anything, nor being able to experience anything. Another really bleak ending, one that, like the above, I don't look forward to.

But of course, the word 'Living' is rather subjective. What would it mean to live life?
We've heard of many people telling us to live life to the fullest. But what does it really mean? Does it mean to take risks and do exciting yet dangerous things, such as bungee jumping into a volcano or rock climbing up the side of the Grand Canyon? Or does it mean to just live life everyday, you wake up, brush your teeth, have breakfast, go to work, come back home, have dinner, talk with family, do some work again, sleep, and repeat the cycle?

Well, it's really a personal thing I suppose. There are no right or wrong answers, there are no guide lines to follow. No laws governing how one should live life.
So for the above quotation, I'd change it to...
"It's the soul afraid of dying, that will live the most."

Once again, I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong, just merely pointing out my own opinions and views.

The Hickey Underworld - Blond Fire

A music video by a Belgian band
Macabre and disgusting. Yet fascinating and thought provoking.
Contains nudity, gore and pretty much some rather nasty stuff. Don't watch and eat/drink at the same time.
I'm serious about the warning.

Oh, and don't watch with children around.

Phantomrider

Phantomrider. The very name of the song caught my attention, and ever since I knew it would be one of the songs in the neue album, "Humanoid" I've always wanted to hear it. And now Tokio Hotel has released a 2:15 snippet of it. I've listened to it and I'm loving every bit of it. Suprisingly the new album has quite a few soft sides to it. Although the cover art seems cold and metallic, some songs in it are really soft and heart warming. "Phantomrider" being one of them, and also "World behind my Wall". These 2 songs have me captivated, and makes me feel like a giddy schoolgirl, who has a crush on... Well, you get the picture. Anyways I have the snippet with me and I'm really excited. Let's see if I can put it on my blog home page.

Here's what Bill said about Phantomrider, "It's about being close to someone you really never met before. You want to escape from something and you want this ghost-like soulmate to come away with you because it's the only thing you have faith in. The track carries hope."
Super phantastischer! I can't wait till 6th of October!

German post? Super!

I'm learning German on my own, so I'm gonna try to do this post in German. Grammatically, it may be wrong, but hey, at least it's worth a passing grade for effort eh?

Here are 2 more video clip, courtesy of MTV, of Tokio Hotel in their recording studio in Los Angeles. Watch it and enjoy!

Without any form of salvation, people will revert to their basest of instincts. Self preservation. And that's why politics and religion was created.

Well, I spent the entire day at Ngee Ann City today, arriving there at 11:00am and left there at about 5:30pm. I got an AX sleevless vest, that looks totally rad. Tomorrow Tokio Hotel will be on Habbo Hotel, and I can't wait for the release of their new album, "Humanoid".

I'm am totally hooked on their new track "World behind my Wall". It's a really great song that brings great contrast to the new album as it is way softer than the other songs, such as "Noise", "Automatic", "Dark side of the Sun", etc,etc... In any case it is a fantastic new album and I just can't wait. Alas I have to...

Well I'm just gonna go and rewatch some TH music videos, it's really, really good and does a world of good for my mood.

Saturday, September 26, 2009

Humanoid!

Just one more week, and a few days, and the new album will be out! I can't wait for it! I've pre-ordered my albums, but I don't expect it to arrive on the day of release. In anycase I'm looking forward to listening to the new songs. It's gonna be fantastic. Really proud of Tokio Hotel for being nominated for the MTV awards for "Best Group" 3 years in a row. I'm so gonna catch them on that day.

Tom playing the piano?! Nein!

Here's a video of Tom playing something I never thought he knew. The piano. Not only is he good looking, but also multi-talented. I've no idea what song he's playing on the piano, it could be a totally unrelated song from Tokio Hotel, or it could be the new track "World behind my Walls". In anycase Tom's a super guitarist, and a wonderful pianist as well. I hope to see more of him playing the piano!

So without further ado, here's the video clip, courtesy of MTV.

Thursday, September 24, 2009

I'm quite tired right now, but I'm still gonna do some blogging before I head over to dreamland. In my current state of tiredness, my mind isn't exactly functioning at 100%. In fact I would say it's only operating at 20%, which includes the usage of my 5 senses and thinking of what to blog right now.

Well then, no.1, I've been eligible for the Diploma Plus Programme, as I've said in my previous post, and I'm probably either going to take computer software programming, or reject this opportunity. In anycase I've gotta think this through and make a decision in a few days time.

No. 2, I wouldn't be wrong in saying that people lie. And when it's from people closest to you, it hurts more. Strangely it doesn't surprise me that this has happened. In fact if you're reading this, you'd probably have no idea of what you've done. It also goes to show what I really mean to you. I've leaned on you alot, so that probably makes you think that I wouldn't survive without you. Well, you're wrong. Let's see how far this goes. Probably a few weeks, a few months. We'll see.

No. 3, if I ever see Tokio Hotel, I've only this warning for them, "Don't let me hug you. Cause I'll never let you go." Surprisingly, this thought came to me while I was jogging yesterday. Wierd huh? Anyways Tokio Hotel will be on Habbo Hotel on the 27th of September to hang out with their fans. Habbo Hotel is gonna have to start up a new server just for this day, cause it's gonna be flooded with lots of fans. In fact, I expect the server to crash. Haha! Well, Kelvin, IF you're reading this at all, this isn't a phase, and I'll always like Tokio Hotel, even after they've disbanded.

No. 4, related to no. 3, if I ever look sad, or pissed off, or whatever negative mood, it's most likely that I've not had my daily dose of Tokio Hotel. Each time I see them, either on stage, or on Tokio Hotel TV, or even in pictures, I'll just smile. It's this kind warmth that they exude, and makes me just want to smile. And while, I may never get to see them in person, I'll probably earn big bucks by the time I'm 25, and pay to hang out with them for 1 day. Tom and Bill would be 28, Gustav, 29 and Georg hitting 30. But it doesn't really matter. If I'm a praying man, I'd pray for them to last forever.

No. 5, I'm hungry... I've not eaten and I went swimming just now, so I'm peckish. But on one hand my brain says, "Don't eat!" while the other half says "Just indulge!" Whatever the decision's gonna be later will determine how I feel about myself later. Mein gott! I sound like an emotional eater who's on a diet with really bad hunger pangs...

Well... That's all for now. Gonna play my guitar for a bit before going off to dream about Tokio Hotel!
Tokio Hotel Feur Immer!

Noise & World behind my Wall

I've just listened to "Noise", the very first track of Tokio Hotel's neue album "Humanoid". There's only one word for it: Ausgezeichnet!
The song is highly reminiscent of "Scream", also the very first track of one of their first albums "Schrei". Noise hasn't really deviated from the punk rock scene that Tokio Hotel originally came from unlike "Pain of Love" which gave a completely new sound to the band.
Next is "World behind my Wall" I wanted to cry when I heard the song. It's something like a mix between "Spring Nicht" and "An deiner seiter (Ich bin da)". But it's a slow rock ballad with deep, powerful, emotional meanings. When you listen to this song, according to Bill, you've gotta be prepared to let everything drop, all the walls and masks. That's what I did when I heard the snippet, and I nearly cried. It's just powerful, mind-blowing, and beautiful, just like the universe. I'm looking forward to the release of the album and can't wait for more sneak previews from the guys!

I was watching this programme called, Voices in Time on the History Channel this afternoon, and today's man of the hour is Fidel Castro. Interesting programme and helps people to know who Castro is. Anyway the purpose of this post is to give you another example of my previous post, as a comment on Castro’s recovery from intestinal surgery, U.S. President George W. Bush said: "One day the good Lord will take Fidel Castro away." Hearing about this, Castro, who is an atheist, ironically replied: "Now I understand why I survived Bush's plans and the plans of other presidents who ordered my assassination: the good Lord protected me."

I love the way Castro made a witty comeback. But this goes to show how religion divides nations. Castro has commented that he would like US Cuban relationships to improve, but if the leader of the US makes such a comment, rather than thanking God for his recovery, then how can it happen?

Anyway, I've just checked my results, and my GPA is 3.833. Not too bad. I'm also eligible for the Diploma Plus PRogramme, which will allow me to study for another diploma, so when I go into the workforce I'll have an extra edge over the competition.

Oh and also, Tokio Hotel will be on Habbo Hotel on the 27th of September. I'll be there, so I can see them, and talk to them! And hopefully they'll choose my question to be featured in their upcoming video.
Ich liebe Tokio Hotel, sind sie das beste Band der Welt!

Religion divides. Ironic isn't it?

I can't help but see religion dividing people instead of what it was originally meant to do: Bring people closer together... One example is that of Christians and non-Christians having a written fight on the Youtube comment page of Sun's Fancy Free video... It not only turns me off completely but makes me feel that religion should be abolished not because it teaches the wrong morals or values, but because it pulls people away from one another.

It seems to me that a peaceful future cannot involve religion. Peace and religion don't seem to go hand in hand, ironically. It seems the Soviets had the right idea of advocating atheism, rather than religion. Of course it wasn't really done for the sake of peace. So the idea was right, just wrongly used. I don't really get it why the Jew, Christians and Muslims are really fighting one another... Just because only Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God isn't a good enough reason to fight. Just another example of why people fight because of misunderstandings, rather than genuinely hating one another.

Well this is something I see from my own point of view. I'll always respect and try to understand other opinions and view. But I'll fight if they are imposed upon me.

Note: This is a picture of the crusades, which were a series of "holy wars" fought by the European powers against the Muslims in the Middle East, with the objective of capturing Jerusalem from the so called "heretics".

Bill's laughter is contagious!

Oh my gosh... I'm so high right now... No idea why, must be because it's 3 am. Oh wait... It's because I'm currently thinking of Bill when he's laughing! He's so cute when he laughs. Anyway just finished watching "Tokio Hotel TV: Caught on Camera" and I'm still enjoying it so much! Anyway, I got internet connection at Cynthia's place, so I'm gonna take this opportunity to blog. Nicht, dass es viel gibt, zu besprechen, außer, dass einige Leute nur so wankelmütig bedacht sind. Einen Moment ist es diese Entscheidung, den nächsten Moment es ist ein anderer.

Well I'm gonna go watch my other TH vids on youtube now, before I lose the internet connection.
Gute Nacht!

Oh ja, und Tokio Hotel Fuer Immer!

Sunday, September 20, 2009

I was up till 2:00 am this morning... And woke up at 9am, 7 hours later... That's 7 hours wasted... It'll be a goal of mine now to eliminate the need for sleep, so that all the precious 24 hours can be used up by us! Haha! Oh well... Will post more on this topic on my rather new blog, Transhuman Ayron. Check it out if you're interested.

Anyways, was watching DW-TW (German News) and they were currently airing this programme called popXport. It talks about the latest music scene in Germany, and boy, oh boy! Tokio Hotel was featured along with their new song, "Automatisch/Automatic" I'm so happy! Another 2 more days and I can get Tokio Hotel's new single! I really do hope that when they say it'll be released everywhere, it'll include Singapore. Well, just gonna chill for awhile before heading to CG and a jog... Can't really say that I'm looking forward to it. It seems my view on things have changed alot. But in anycase, thanks to Wei Yang for the invite.

Saturday, September 19, 2009

I hat the fact that I've been sleeping in the wee hours of the morning and waking up around 11am... It's just seems like such a big bloody wast of time! Time... The very first enemy of man... Every second means we've aged and are 1 second closer to death... *Sigh*

Well, to elaborate more on my little comment in the previous post, I'm not gonna change course anymore. Yeah, I'm just gonna work hard on my maths, and digital electronics, my PEEE, and that's it for the 1st year. I mean, I'm already half way through the year, so why quit now. Of course I'll have alot of catching up to do for maths and DE, but I know if I do my best I can work it out. 2nd year will be more interesting, and I've decided to take Bio-electronics and Nano technology as my electives next year. Gotta do something about my maths...

Well I'm gonna go for dinner with my paternal grandma afterwards, so I look forward to it.

Lead me not in to temptation

I just saw this really cute and funny vid on Tom's blog, and have decided it's too precious not too share. Why share it if it's on Tom's blog already? Cause I have feeling none of you will go and see his blog. So anyways, here it is! Enjoy!

Are you Automatisch?

Here's a little widget for y'all to have fun with. Enjoy!
Counting down to "Automatic's/Automatisch's" and "Humanoid's" release date. Can't wait.

Oh, and I've decided not to switch course.

Thursday, September 10, 2009

What does "Automatic" mean to you?

Here's a video clip of Bill and Tom explaining why they chose Automatisch/Automatic as the song title. After watching the video, you realize it's so true. And it gives me something to think about and post on my new blog, http://www.transhumanistayron.blogspot.com/

If you've yet to check it out, please go and just take a look. It turns out that the transhumanist community isn't as small as I thought it would be, but it's still small when comparing it to the number of people alive on the planet.

Well I'm not gonna bore you with my transhumanist thoughts here. So here's the video clip, watch and enjoy!

Zwei Neue Sang

Here are 2 new songs by Tokio Hotel that will be featured in their new album, "Humanoid". And the 2 new songs are...

1)Pain of Love
and
2)Human conncet to Human

Pain of love is a completely new sound for Tokio Hotel, and in fact you can't really identify that it's Bill singing until the chorus. That aside, it's a nice song, but rather dark and kinda angsty. And the title gets one thinking, Pain of Love? How can love be painful? Isn't it suppose to be a wonderful thing to be in love? Well, just listen to the music and let me know what you think about it in the cbox!

Pain of Love - Tokio Hotel

Human connect to Human is a more upbeat song with a happier note, and in fact if you thinka bout it and listen to the lyrics, it's kind of "kiddy". But it's still a great song and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Well do me a favour by listening to the song and let me know what you think about it in the cbox!

What a party!

Oh my gosh! I'm so jealous of Bill and Tom, and the 20 people who were invited to their birthday party. Turns out that they rented out Heide Park Soltau, an amusement park in Germany, and had a ton of fun there.

Imagine, no waiting in line for any rides... *Dreaming*
*Sigh* What a way to celerate a birthday...
How nice it would be if I could do that for my kids next time...
I would shower them with love, and pamper them...

Tokio Hotel Fuer Immer!
Only another 2 weeks to go before the release of their new single, "Automatisch/Automatic"

For those who have not listened to the track or watched the video, I highly recommend that you watch and enjoy it!

Beichte - Tokio Hotel

Okay, went back to Centris again today to do a thorough checking for defects. And guess what...
Major defects! In fact my dad got a good friend of his, who happens to be an architect himself, to check it out, and he says it's not fit for human habitation. In fact he told my dad to get our lawyer to write a letter to the developer to make a complaint and demand compensation.

Oh well... I guess we may not be able to move in by December this year, but it's alright...
So long as I get a new room I'll be fine.

And oh yeah, I just sent my laptop for repairs at Sony... Hopefully I'll get it back by next week...
5 working days to fix a laptop? Gosh...

I so can't wait for "Automatisch/Automatic" and "Humanoid" to hit the stores!

Anyway here's Beichte by Tokio Hotel

Beichte - Tokio Hotel

Automatisch/Automatic Video Premiere (Part 2)

Oh yeah! I was the 680th person to view the music video premiere of "Automatisch/Automatic".
It is a great music video and the lyrics are catchy.

In the begining you may think, "Hey, there's no link to what Bill is singing." but nearer to the end you'll be like "Ah, now I see!"

I especially like the part where the robots are about to literally "Kiss", but the girl just breaks away. It was kind of sweet yet sad. And makes you think alot... Well at least for me.

Anyway you can view the music video at the Tokio Hotel official fanclub at...
http://www.tokiohotel.com/us/#home/

And while you're there you may want to check out their other music videos as well.
My recommendations are "Rette Mich", "Spring Nicht", "Durch Den Monsun" and the english version "Monsoon"

I can't wait for Sept 22nd! And according to the website. It'll be available everywhere! So hopefully everywhere means Singapore as well!

Thursday, September 3, 2009

My laptop is giving me all sorts of crazy problems right now, so the chance to blog, for me is very precious now... I hope to get the problem resolved soon, then I won't have such problems.

Things are looking up right now for me.
I'll have my last paper today, and then I can apply for my course transfer.
Though I'm cutting it a little close...
The COP for interior design is 17, the same as my 'O' Level results.
So I can only hope that my course transfer is approved.

Going for my paper in another 45 mins.

Schrei so laut du kannst!

Automatisch/Automatic Video Premiere

Tomorrow is the premiere of Tokio Hotel'snew video "Automatisch/Automatic"

So the links will be up tomorrow for the video, do watch it, I'm sure it's going to be awesome! Counting down till the 22nd of September, that's when Automatisch/Automatic will be released. And being the crazed Tokio Hotel Fan that I am, I'll get both the German and English Version. Till then I'll just be re-watching and re-listening to all their music videos and tracks!

Hallo, Wir sind Tokio Hotel!

Okay, so it turns out that I can't talk directly to Tokio Hotel, but I could leave them a message. And that's what I did. When I heard Bill's voice on the phone I was like, "OH MY GOD!!! IT"S BILL!!! AND I"M TALKING TO HIM!!!" Only to realize that it's a recording...

But it's fine, even on recording, he sounds so real, and perhaps that's the closest I'll ever get to talking to them. I really sincerely hope that they get my message...

Anyway here's a video of Tom and Bill performing Monsoon in an American radio station. This is the unplugged version, and I like it a lot!

Monsoon Unplugged - Tokio Hotel

Glücklicher Geburtstag Tom und Bill!

Oh my Gosh! It's Tom and Bill's 20th birthday today!
So here's my birthday greeting to them.
